Help me plan a Men’s retreat
When it comes to the church men are an interesting group to do ministry with. Many of us as minister’s have grown up in the church and have gone to church camp and grown accustomed to the touchy feely aspect of retreats. However, most men who are coming to the church later in life or returning do not want those things.
I have been asked to help plan a Men’s retreat in February of 2012 and am looking for some ideas on things you think that men would be interested in joining or participating in. The retreat will last from a Friday night through a Saturday early afternoon. We are at a camp where we could have men doing all kinds of different things.
Please share your ideas with me that will help as I try to assist in planning this event for men. We are not talking about attracting a lot of men from the cities.
