Day Off

While I love what I do in ministry there is one day during the week that I look forward to more than any other. It is my day off. In ministry there are so many things that often interrupt our days and keep us from truly getting away once in a while. However, Thursday is my day off and I protect it as much as I possibly can.
It is such a good thing to take a day off and just be with the family. It is a time for me to just focus on them and leave everything else behind for the day. I love being with my family and getting to hear the funny things my kids say and do.
If there is anything that you need to do in your life, make sure you are getting time to be with the family and when you are be fully present.
