Remember the FAMILY

This week I took some extra time off to enjoy my family. We headed to St. Louis early on Monday to drop my boys off at my moms. Then Becky and I went to Opening Day at Busch Stadium. After the game we went and picked up the boys and headed to a hotel where they got to go swimming and just have fun. Tuesday we were up early and back in the pool before we headed out to the Zoo and back to Indianapolis.
These 48 hours that were taken to just enjoy my family and to have fun are some of the most important hours that I will use during this month. With ministry being as busy as it is at time we just need to slow down and remember our families. They spend all of their time helping us get what needs to be done at church, giving us up so that others can have us and simply put seeing us very little at times. If we can take just these few simple hours and remember our families we will not regret the time that we have spent together.
Believe it or not the church will still be there when you get back.
