Pray for our church
I woke up this morning to a voice message on my cell phone. It was our executive minister letting me know that the Senior Minister’s son, Mike Merold had died. Mike is our pastoral care guy and was phenomenal at it. I remember the first time I went on a call with him. It was to a family who had just lost their dad, husband and friend. Within in minutes of getting there he was able to asses what was going on and had everyone laughing a little and relaxed. Mind you he did not know the family at all. I know that he will be missed around here and that lives will be altered as he has gone on to heaven.
Please pray for his dad Ben Merold and their family as they mourn the loss of a loved one. Please pray for the church as we have lost a part of our body.
