Rewarding night…
Last night we got to see three of our students step out and lead in our community of churches. They came together for a worship service that they planned and organized which involved several different churches. It went off with out any issues at all. There was a large crowd that showed up and really embraced the service as God was able to continue uniting us together as ONE.
Over the last several years a few of the ministries in our area started to get together and really support one another. We are just minutes from each other and have never seen any of this as competition. We come together to jsut encourage one another and really to build a bridge between our churches that should not exist as we worship the same God and believe that Jesus Christ came to save all of us. It is these efforts and working together with area churches that our students have seen and caught the bigger picture. As a Student Minister there is little more exciting than to see your students come together and fulfill the dream that you have for the church to be united.
