A Free Lunch
Sponsor appreciation can sometimes be one of the hardest things for many of us to follow through on. Our leaders pour themselves into our ministries and give up countless hours and vacations to minister as part of the church. Yet, we struggle to find ways to just say, “Thank You!” However, even you can do this.
Earlier this week I received a coupon in my email for a buy one get one free entree at TGI Fridays. In the midst of a busy week and knowing that I did not think my wife and I would have time to go I started to delete and then decided I would send it out to a group of my leaders. Wow, the response was great! It took little to no effort on my part but I received several emails and even a phone call saying, “Thank You!” Some where going to use it that day and another is having an Anniversary and said that they now knew where they were going to go and eat.
A simple quick email of something that I thought I was going to delete turned into an incredible appreciation of my team and all the work that they do.
