Graduation
This is one of those time of years where everything gets really crazy as you are planning for summer and getting people signed up for different events. Then you add the recruiting of leaders for those events. This time of year always brings one other element that just makes the weekends unlike any other.
Graduation! As Student Ministers this time of year is a bitter sweet one. You are glad to see your students accomplishing great things and still you do not want to see them leave. However, when it comes to getting to all those graduation parties on top of planning everything else that we have going on at this time of the year it just seems impossible.
Take the time to say, “You are Proud of them and you look forward to seeing what God is going to do with them.” It will mean a lot and those parties are really important to the parents so try to make them as much as possible.
