Teens and sex…

Having been in Student Mnistry for over 17 years I have had my share of conversations about sex with teens.  We have talked in a large group setting where we explain what the Bible has to say about sex.  We have had those conversations that you never really want to have but it comes with the postition.  Sex is a topic that is never far from the mouths of students and even closer to the pressure that they face everyday.

I recieved a phone call yesterday from a peer in ministry sharing with me what he had just found on one of his students ipods.  Now i know most you are going yeah I have been there with a student that remains nameless.  However, you have not been here.  This Student Minister borrowed an ipod from his student with full knowledge only to connect and have these images plastered onto his computer of this students girlfriend as a centerfold.  Double wammy for the minister if you know what I mean.

Here is my question – How do you handle the student that you know is having sex?  How would you handle the situation that I just shared with you?

We are always running into new scenarios in ministry and just think that it could be a good conversation for us to have as student ministers.  Please give me your thoughts.
