Here are just a few of the things that Francis shared with us:
- When I read the book of Acts and I see what they are doing and compare it to the church of today, that is so like us! Yeah Right! We do not measure up to what the church was doing in the first century.
- Acts 4:13 – Boldness of Peter and John, Where is our boldness? Why are we complacent?
- God took 11 guys and said I am going to teach you everything I know and you will change the world. the same Holy Spirit that was given to them has been given to us. It’s living in you. Are you going to be bold and change the world?
- Complacency is coming if you are not following the Holy Spirit.
“Be careful not to turn your experiences into principles. Let God be as creative with others as he has been with you.” Oswald Chambers
Overall, great teaching from a guy who is very humble and is simply trying to follow what God wants to do with him. One final statement that he made was this, “People need to be attracted to God by God.” Using the story of Elijah in 1 Kings 18.
