Evaluation
Summer is a great time for youth ministries to evaluate what they have been doing over the last year. Most of us have taken the summer to do different things and to take a break from the things that we are used to doing. Normal programming does not resume until September. However, as we are striving to get the next things going and plan the next trip we seldom stop long enough to evaluate what we have been doing.
During this down time from normal programming I want to encourage you to think through the programs that you had this spring. Is there somethimg that you should not be doing? Should you add a new role to your ministry? Can you do some things better? Are you focusing on what you do best?
This summer while you have taken a break from programming why not take a few minutes and evaluate your ministry.
