Gang shooting text at Wal-Mart is a hoax
Technology has added so much to our lives that we can not even imagine why so many others would misuse the tools. However, it is no surprise to me that people or groups will start to use the technology in ways to do things that scare people. In scaring people we begin to cause them to question the value of technology.
However, the church has to find ways to help people embrace technology that can bring them closer to one another. Allowing the community to draw on the resources that exist in a church instead of seeing it as evil. Technology has opened the door for all of us to engage in more conversation and even understand what is happening in each others lives. I am interested in how you are using technology to embrace your community. Please take a minute and share what you are doing.
